Philippine Community Council of New South Wales (PCC-NSW) President Ronaldo Villaver announces the holding of “PCC-NSW 2009 Board Induction and Community Reception for Senator Francis Joseph G. Escudero” on 9 March 2009.
The induction and community reception will be held at the Philippine Consulate General – Sydney, Level 1, Philippine Centre, 27 – 33 Wentworth Avenue, Sydney, 2000 from 6:30 p.m. onward.

PCC-NSW is the peak body of Filipino Australian community organisations in New South Wales, Australia and is affiliated with Filipino Communities Council of Australia (FilCCA). It was one of the 31 awardees of the 2008 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organisations Overseas – Banaag Award Category.
Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero is a member of the Senate of the Philippines – 14th Congress. He acts as chairman of three permanent committees of the Philippine Senate. These are on: 1) Banks, Financial Institutions and Currencies; 2) Constitutional Amendments, Revisions of Codes and Laws; 3) Justice and Human Rights.
This community event is actively supported by the Philippine Consulate General-Sydney through its Acting Head of Post J. Anthony Reyes.
