On the 22nd June this year, the Philippine Community will celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence at Parramatta Town Hall, Church Street Mall, Parramatta, NSW.
Commencing the event on the day will be the conduct of Annual Flag Raising at 10:00 a.m and to be followed by the cultural performances by different Filipino-Australian community organisations.
This event is a joint effort of the Parramatta City Council c/o Lord Mayor Councillor Paul Barber, Philippine Consulate General Sydney, Aguman Capampangan Australia Inc and the Philippine Community Council of New South Wales Inc. (PCC-NSW) including its affiliate organisations.

His Worship the Mayor of the City of Penrith Councillor Greg Davies and Philippine Consul General Honourable Maria Theresa Lazaro invites the community to the 110th Philippine National Day Celebration on 14 June 2008, 3pm at Penrith City Council Civic Centre.
The celebration will start with the trditional "Philippine Flag Raising Ceremony" to mark the proclamation of the Philippine Independence by General Emilio Aguinaldo on 12 June 1898 at the balcony of his house in Kawit, Cavite. This will be followed by cultural performances at the Nepean Room Civic Centre by various Australian Filipino community.
This event is organised by Philippine Language and Cultural Association of Australia Inc. (PLCAA), City Council of Penrith and the Philippine Consulate General-Sydney with the support of Philippine Community Council of New South Wales Inc (PCC-NSW) and its affiliate organisations.
